PLA (polylactide, PLA) is the most popular material for 3D printers due to its environmental friendliness, safety, lack of unpleasant odor and high mechanical characteristics. Polylactide 3D printer filament allows you to create dimensional models with high dimensional stability, high geometric complexity and high print resolution. This material has low shrinkage, high adhesion to the platform, as well as between layers - this allows printing without delamination and deformation of the finished product. The products have a beautiful, glossy surface and are therefore popular for 3D printing toys and household products. PLA has high rigidity and high tensile strength, however, it is brittle and has a low operating temperature, making it unsuitable for most technical applications.
PLA is available with a filament diameter of 1.75mm
